Take What You're Given (And Give A Little Back)

symfony logosymfony! It makes me happy and it makes me smile. I've been a pretty big advocate of symfony for over a year now, and I really enjoy every chance I get to play with it. From simple mockups to more advanced development, I find symfony to speed me up soo much. Woo woo! symf-vangelist number one!

Anyway, I've been helping in the symfony IRC channel ever since I found my feet (as a follow-on from being helped in the symfony IRC channel when I started). I'm starting to help more and more these days, which is a bit of a satisfying feeling. People are, you know, starting to show riz-pec and looking for me by name. It's kind of cool.

But yesterday was the bestest. Haha. This is so lame. But yesterday was my first foray into actually contributing code to the project, which I've wanted to do for a long time, but really didn't know where to start. But yes, now I (er, and others?) can use conditionals when including style sheets and JavaScript files so that it's easier to do the all-too-common Internet Explorer workarounds. Yay! Something useful!

So yes, I'm lame. But I feel good. Finally giving back to what I've drawn so much from over the last year (and a bit). It's not much, but it's a start. Here's to much more!

Cheers!
